How these lists are made: curated by a recruiter from major public rankings (QS, Times Higher Education and others) combined with on-the-ground knowledge from hiring managers and sourcers. Lists are not ranked in strict order and are not exhaustive. A university missing from a list is not a judgement on its graduates. Use these lists to widen and structure searches, not to filter people out. "Private" marks tuition-based or privately run institutions; no tag does not always mean free, see the country note.
